Freshmen Seminar                             Required Grade 9                                 Minor 

This course is designed to support freshmen in the transition to high school. Seminar topics are varied and include foundational study skills, personal learning style identification, and strategies for becoming a responsible learner. Counselors and teachers from the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit also provide workshops throughout the year to focus on such topics as decision- making and leadership development.   The goal of the course is to present practical tools for freshmen to utilize and build upon throughout their high school experience.
