Gwynedd Mercy Academy is an all girls Catholic college-preparatory high school steeped in Mercy tradition and service in the spirit of Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy. Our high school provides an environment which fosters academic rigor, personal growth, and service and leadership opportunities for all our students. Our school is based on the values of: compassionate presence, justice, service, and respect for the dignity of all persons.
We hold high standards and expectations, but grades are not the only measure of whether our students are learning. It's about the process and the challenge of opening the mind to new ideas and concepts. It's mastering new skills and the exciting realization of accomplishment.
