Director of the Catherine Learning Program
Kathleen Gould, M.Ed.
Kathleen Gould is a life-long educator and advocate for students. She has worked both as a teacher and administrator throughout her career. Kathleen has educated students with varying learning needs mostly at the high school level and thrives off the challenges of working with high school students. Always striving for academic growth and independence, Kathleen enjoys the pursuit of finding the appropriate learning strategies for each individual student's learning needs.
Most recently, Kathleen worked within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia as the Director of Special Education where she supervised four schools of special education along with the needs of school-aged students throughout the Archdiocese. She was responsible for all students with learning differences in maximizing their learning in all educational settings, developing and implementing curriculum, and guaranteeing that specially designed instruction, accommodation plans, and IEPs were appropriately developed and delivered.
Kathleen’s beliefs align with Gwynedd’s mission as she shares, “I strongly believe that great education opens a world of possibilities for young women. I am grateful to be a conduit that fosters the growth of the students of Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School so that they may become tomorrow’s innovative and moral leaders. As an educator, I am here for the student, but I also believe in being available to support families as they navigate the next steps in life with their student(s).”
Kathleen is available to all families in the Gwynedd community, welcomes questions, and is happy to offer time to connect with anyone who has inquiries or concerns.
