Leadership Department

The Leadership Department at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School offers an array of dynamic programs tailored to each grade level, inviting students to dive into a journey of self-discover, expand their potential, and nurture vital leadership skills. The core of the program is dedicated to cultivating character, building confidence, and instilling resilience while developing leadership skills for real-world situations.

 

Purpose

 

The Leadership Department of Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of female changemakers. The aim it is to provide a faith-based and mercy-centered educational experience that instills empowerment in young women, sparking inspiration through the four pillars of leadership: 

communication, collaboration, perspective, and resilience. 

These leadership skills build executive presence and confidence, empowering our students to break barriers for women in all their future pursuits.

Leadership Advisory Council

 "Empowered Women Empower Women."

The Leadership Advisory Council includes 10 alumnae who work in an array of professions and industries. These women work with the Leadership Director and students in LEAD and Lead4Change to provide real-world insights, guidance, and mentorship.
