Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School continues to accept applications for the Class of 2024 (students entering 9th grade in the 2020-2021 academic year).
Please contact the admissions office for further details regarding our late applicant process at 215-646-8815 ext. 306.
Thank you to those who sat for our Entrance-Scholarship Exam this October.
Transfer applicants and late freshman applicants will take a modified test that will be scheduled on an individual basis with the Admissions Office.
Request the following information from your present school:
- An unofficial copy of your daughter's academic transcript that should include all marks and standardized test scores
- One recommendation from a teacher who knows the applicant especially well and can speak to her academic ability and character. Your recommendation request will be sent as part of your application.
Transfer and late applicants should contact the Admissions Office to request copies of the forms. For both 9th grade and transfer applicants, an Admissions decision cannot be made until we have received all materials.
8th graders (for the Class of 2024) applying to Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School can submit a Financial Aid/Tuition Assistance application via our Financial Aid application page. Any prospective student who wishes to be considered for Financial Aid/Tuition Assistance, must submit a completed Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) application with all supporting documents. If the applicant meets this deadline, decisions about financial awards will be communicated before the Confirmation Deadline.
Click Financial Aid for more information (including deadlines).
All returning Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School families and transfer students will apply for Financial Aid starting in January, each year.
Transfer Student Applicant
Unless they have previously applied and been accepted to Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, students who are interested in transferring to Gwynedd will be asked to take a modified Entrance Exam, which will be scheduled on an individual basis upon receipt of an application, transcript, and teacher recommendation.
Freshman Late Applicant
Any student who would like to be considered for late admission as a freshman, and misses the Entrance-Scholarship Exam in October, will be asked to take our modified Entrance Exam, unless she has taken the HSPT at another private, all-girls school. Late applicants will also submit all other required Admissions documentation.
Call the Admissions Office at 215-646-8815 x306, or submit a request through our website for Admissions materials.
