Runners and walkers of all levels and ages are welcome to join the annual Carolyn Keen '10 Memorial 5K Run/1M Walk, an event that raises funds to support the Carolyn Keen ’10 Memorial Scholarship.
Carolyn Keen '10 was a member of the GMAHS Cross Country and Track teams who lost her life in a car accident during her junior year. A 5K is a perfect way to celebrate her talents and contributions to the Gwynedd community and honor her memory.
Each year, the scholarship is awarded to a rising junior who, like Carolyn, has displayed admirable dedication and commitment to her school and embodies the characteristics of service, Mercy Spirit, and leadership. The scholars work with the Keen family and event committee to host this special event.
