About The Coach

COACH BRIDGET BECK ’17, HEAD COACH

Bridget Beck is the Head Coach of the Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School Lacrosse program and has led the team for four years. She brings four years of coaching experience and played women’s lacrosse at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where she earned a degree in Business Management with a minor in Sales. Coach Beck brings her collegiate playing experience into her coaching, emphasizing growth both on and off the field.

Coach Beck’s coaching philosophy focuses on building confidence, leadership, and resilience. She takes pride in watching her athletes battle through challenges, celebrate hard-fought wins, and grow into strong, vocal leaders. What she enjoys most about coaching at Gwynedd is the team culture- athletes who push themselves, support one another, and make coming to the field each day rewarding. Outside of lacrosse, she enjoys traveling, playing golf, and never says no to a Coca-Cola.

COACH HAILEY DURKIN ’17, ASSISTANT HEAD COACH

Hailey Durkin ‘17, a Philadelphia resident and Doylestown native, has built a lifelong legacy of athletic excellence, leadership, and community commitment. Her love of sports began in second grade when she first picked up a lacrosse and field hockey stick—two sports she went on to excel in for more than a decade. Inspired by her cousins, Moira Durkin Tozier ’00 and Tucker Durkin, both standout athletes at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School and La Salle College High School, Hailey set her sights on following their path.

A member of the Class of 2017, Hailey was a four‑year varsity starter in both lacrosse and field hockey at GMAHS. As a senior, she captained both teams and earned recognition as a 2016 and 2017 AACA Lacrosse All‑Star as well as GMAHS’s 2017 Lacrosse MVP. She also surpassed 100 career goals in lacrosse. In field hockey, Hailey helped lead the Monarchs to the 2013 State Semifinal and was named the 2015 Offensive Player of the Year and the 2016 Coach’s Award recipient. She also played a key role in the 2016 PIAA District One A Championship. Hailey continued her athletic career at Fairfield University as a Division I starting defender, contributing to three MAAC Championships (2018, 2019, and 2021) and competing in three NCAA Tournament first‑round games. She graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and a minor in finance.

Professionally, Hailey brings her competitive drive to her role as a Strategic Sales Account Manager at Informa TechTarget. She remains connected to the sport she loves as the Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at GMAHS, where she is committed to inspiring the next generation of female athletes.
