COACH BILL DAILEY, VARSITY HEAD COACH

Bill Dailey serves as the Varsity Head Soccer Coach at Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School, where he has been a part of the program for nine years, previously as a varsity assistant coach. With over 33 years of coaching experience across the high school, club, and youth levels, his background includes leadership roles at Conwell-Egan High School and Harry S. Truman High School.

Coach Dailey holds a B.A from The Pennsylvania State University, a master’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University, and a Certificate in Diversity & Inclusion from Cornell University.

Throughout his career, he has guided teams to remarkable achievements, including District Finalist and ACCA Champion honors at Gwynedd, five District 12 Championships, and a State Finalist appearance at Conwell-Egan.

His coaching philosophy centers on excellence, empowerment, and empathy, emphasizing both player development and personal growth. He deeply values how Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School’s mission and core values shape the team culture both on and off the field.

Beyond soccer, Coach Dailey grew up bilingual, spending summers in Germany, plays multiple instruments, and enjoys quality time with his family.
