COACH GUADALUPE PRINCE, HEAD COACH

Guadalupe Prince is the Head Coach of the Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School Tennis program and has led the team for 20 years. She brings two decades of coaching experience and has also served as an assistant coach for the Wissahickon Boys Tennis Team and as the Head Coach of the Germantown Academy Boys Tennis program. Coach Prince holds a university degree in Public Accounting from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela.

Coach Prince has guided her team to significant success throughout her career. In 2014, she led Gwynedd to its first league championship and District 1 title in school history, along with a state tournament semifinal appearance. She has also coached Germantown Academy to back-to-back Inter-Ac championships in 2022 and 2023 and led Wissahickon to league and district titles in 2013. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and confidence, with a focus on helping student athletes grow both on and off the court. Outside of tennis, she enjoys the many connections she has made through the sport and is known for knowing someone wherever she goes.
