About The Coach

COACH DOMINIQUE FRANCO, ASSISTANT COACH

Dominique Franco is an Assistant Coach for the Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School Track & Field program and is in her first year with the team. She competed as a Division 1 pole vaulter at Villanova University, where she earned a degree in Communications with a specialization in Public Relations. Coach Franco brings her experience as a high-level collegiate athlete into her coaching, using the techniques and lessons she learned from the top-level competitors.

One of Coach Franco’s early highlights includes helping athletes achieve personal bests at the 2025 Outdoor ACCA League Championships, including standout performances in the long and triple jump, as well as contributing to the team’s league title that same meet. Her coaching philosophy centers on leading through experience, preparation, and a positive mindset, while supporting athletes as they work toward their goals. She enjoys watching athletes grow both on and off the track and values the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their lives. Outside of coaching, she enjoys arts and crafts, Pilates, and dreams of one day living on a farm.

She especially enjoys working with the driven, multi-talented athletes at Gwynedd Mercy and finds it rewarding to watch them succeed both in athletics and in other areas of school life.
