EXTERNSHIP APPLICATIONS - JUNIORS This program is open to all Juniors, providing our students opportunities to work with extraordinary leaders who are not only role models, but who have made important contributions within their fields. Students can receive assistance on placement or they may find a business independently. For more information regarding the Externship program, please contact Director of Leadership Initiatives, Mrs. Jennifer Guarnaccia.
FRESHMEN CAREER DAY In addition to the career sessions that your daughters were able to sign up for, each girl will be participating in an activity with their grade! For this activity, each girl will be creating their own vision board of her future self! Whether she chooses to make the board about how she hopes to be seen in her senior year or how she sees yourself beyond Gwynedd, we encourage each of them to take creative control in this reflection of themselves!
Please help your daughters prepare for the activity by gathering materials such as magazines, printed images/quotes, or anything else she would like to include. The vision board does not have to include images of her specifically, but rather any images that reflect what she hopes for in the future. Please reference the examples attached. We will provide the boards.
LEAD4CHANGE LEAD4Change would like to introduce GMA VOICES, a new student run initiative that focuses on sex/human trafficking awareness and education. On March 4th, 2021 a speaker from the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project will be coming to Gwynedd Mercy to speak to the girls regarding this important topic! Blue ribbons will be given out to every Gwynedd girl to wear in their hair on this day, to show support for the cause.
