Historical Journals During the early days of the Pandemic, Dr. Derstine had her students keep journals—in doing this students of AP US, Honors Topics in US and Topics in US developed the primary documents future historians will rely on to understand this moment in time. Students were given time during each class period to add to their journals—this gave students an opportunity to process the unprecedented events occurring around them but also allowed for the voice of a historically under represented population, women, to contribute to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania archives.
Common App Workshops It's Common App workshop week for the juniors! Students dedicated small group class time to filling out the application and asking their college counselor questions!
