Why I Chose Gwynedd: After I visited Gwynedd in eighth grade, I knew I belonged here. On that visitation day, the girls treated me like I was already a student at school, and they were so welcoming and helpful with whatever I needed. Even the classroom environment was unlike anything I had ever seen; girls weren't afraid to speak up and teachers were constantly willing to help. So I decided to come to Gwynedd with only two other girls from my grade school, and I can easily say it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Why Did I Choose Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School? I chose Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School because of the sense of community and opportunity. After completing a visitation day at GMA and seeing the interaction among girls and teachers, as well as the sense of family that was present, I knew that I was going to be a part of a true sisterhood. Additionally, I saw opportunities for every student; a focus on character building, a faith-based education, and an environment that felt like a family. I witnessed a real chance for every girl to shine and be their best self. I knew that Gwynedd would truly give me the opportunity to grow as a young woman, as well as form connections that really are timeless, priceless, and valued.
